Why “Nuoi em”?
“If we don’t start building schools, many places will still have makeshift classrooms made of wood and bamboo. And if we don’t do Nuôi Em, many children will still drop out of school.” – shared by Hoang Hoa Trung, founder of the Nuôi Em project.
You might be surprised to learn that in remote and mountainous areas of Vietnam, where living conditions are exceedingly tough, children have limited access to schooling.
For a long time, nutritionally poor meals have been a familiar image for children in Vietnam's hilly regions, and 90% of youngsters must drop out of school midway due to hunger.
Recognising these obstacles and sufferings, the Nuôi Em initiative was founded with the purpose of delivering complete meals to provide children with the drive to attend school without having to worry about hunger.
What we have done so far:
The Twins started the journey with a school building project in Vietnam with “Nuoi em” Project, specifically at the Hang Lia A School.
In addition to this, we have also enrolled to receive sponsorship codes for supporting 10 children in the "Nuoi em" Project.
Undoubtedly, this figure is modest in comparison to the community's assemble contributions, but it represents a huge step forward for The Twins on the way to improving the lives of underprivileged children.
Our commitments
We pledge to allocate 2% of all today's sales to our fund dedicated to supporting the "Nuoi em" initiative.
